IH2 OVERPASS RAISING
The existing U.S. 83 freeway was approved by Texas Department of Transportation Officials (TxDOT) & The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) to be renamed Interstate Highway 2. It is required by TxDOT that interstate highways meet a specific overpass clearance height.
Chanin Engineering is assisting Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. in the design of raising the clearance heights of the IH2 bridges at the 23rd St. & 10th St. Eastbound and Westbound intersections.
The design portion of this project was completed in February 2018.
